Delicious country cooking! And the staff ain’t too shabby either! 11/10
We stayed at Greenbo State Lodge, where the dining area was closed, except for take-out. Dinner was a disappointment, so we searched for a location for breakfast. Mammas had good reviews and was one of the closest places (1/2 hr drive). It is family-run in an old gas station. Very clean, nice people, great food, and reasonable prices. We went back for breakfast a second time the next day. Very pleasant experience!
The food was great and the "regular" customers were entertaining.
Great little place. Friendly service and great food.
Server was friendly, food was good.. read reviews and was super excited to try it.. wouldn't say it was anything special or extraordinary.. a nice, local place to grab a quick bite to eat.. nothing really stood out to me on the menu, so I just went with breakfast.. bacon was cooked perfect, eggs and potatoes were fine, but the biscuit and grave was my least favorite.. it was a darker gravy (I like white!) And didn't have much flavor in my opinion.. only got 7 sliced pickles for the order for 7 bucks.. boyfriend got the mama burger and it was huge.. came out steaming hot but a little over cooked and dry.. grabbed a piece of carrot cake to go and I don't believe the cake was homemade, or at least didn't taste like it, so I was a little disappointed in that.. overall, great little place to get something besides fast food..
great home cooked meal, with great prices and awesome staff.
Had lunch today at Mammas Kitchen and it was delicious! Cleanest restaurant I have seen in a long time. So friendly and polite

We had a fantastic lunch. Serving sizes were great and the staff was very friendly.
Staff was welcoming, diner was clean, food was good, cheap and there was plenty of it. Pancakes were big and fluffy. 10/10 would recommend.
This place is amazing, I've had the burger and the philly sandwich so far and they were great, as well as the large portion of natural cut fries that were delicious! However the tator tots should come with more than 10 or 12 per order.
Just moved to Rush and today was my first time trying this place. 10/10 it was so good everything was fresh and hot best burger I’ve ever had from a restaurant AND it only took 10 minutes for them to get everything cooked and ready to go. Staff was also super friendly and sociable. We will definitely be eating here a lot.
My wife and found this diamond-in-the-rough driving from Harrisonburg to Indiana. A very unassuming place from the street, we had an excellent dining experience there. My wife had the Codfish special with green beans and hominy. I had an omelet with mushrooms, onions and peppers, along with home fried potatoes. Portions were huge, and food was excellent. The waitress was friendly as was the cook. And the cook even came outside and told us the history of the old house next door. We loved everything about it.
