We stayed at Greenbo State Lodge, where the dining area was closed, except for take-out. Dinner was a disappointment, so we searched for a location for breakfast. Mammas had good reviews and was one of the closest places (1/2 hr drive). It is family-run in an old gas station. Very clean, nice people, great food, and reasonable prices. We went back for breakfast a second time the next day. Very pleasant experience!
Server was friendly, food was good.. read reviews and was super excited to try it.. wouldn't say it was anything special or extraordinary.. a nice, local place to grab a quick bite to eat.. nothing really stood out to me on the menu, so I just went with breakfast.. bacon was cooked perfect, eggs and potatoes were fine, but the biscuit and grave was my least favorite.. it was a darker gravy (I like white!) And didn't have much flavor in my opinion.. only got 7 sliced...
This place is amazing, I've had the burger and the philly sandwich so far and they were great, as well as the large portion of natural cut fries that were delicious! However the tator tots should come with more than 10 or 12 per order.
