the pies...pies...pies! I was told the are known for catfish I don't care for it so I had the grilled pork loin. (yum). with the beans and hoe cakes. had lots for leftovers as well. peanut butter pie was gone within 7 minutes of getting back. please try.
Good Kentucky country cooking. Had catfish with fries, slaw and hushpuppies. The slaw was just the way I like it, very fine chopped with very sweet creamy dressing. Really good hushpuppies and when I asked for a couple of more they happily complied. The catfish was excellent and the fries nice and hot. Never heard of Eli, KY before but well worth finding.
I ordered fish, and it was all crust and very little fish inside. It was overcooked. It was my first time there. I had heard it was good, so I might give it one more chance. The waitress was very nice and friendly and came back several times. She gets an A+.
