The restaurant features a variety of menu items, including daily specials and options to request off-menu dishes. Customers enjoy the pulled pork, fried catfish, and mild barbecue sauce, as well as the corn cakes and coleslaw. Many visitors praise the generous serving sizes, with meat that falls off the bone, and highlight the outstanding fried pies, particularly apple and peach, which make a very yummy ending to the meal. The fried okra is also a pleasant surprise, considered some of the best around.
