If Popeyes and Raising Cane's and Chicken Express had babies, this would be it. Hella good tasting food. A bit pricey, but it comes with a cool cat toy (iykyk) and half gallon of iced tea for $39. Definitely recommend if passing through Shelbyville.

Parking: Drive thru stays full. Inside seating is limited

Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible. ADA compliant.

I was in town on business and spotted a Bojangles. I haven't had Bojangles since I was a kid. What I remember from Bojangles was the dirty rice, besides the chicken. When I got my food, the dirty rice was not like I remembered, it didn't even have sausage in it, it was good, maybe because it was different, and I haven't had it in awhile, but this is not the dirty rice I fell in Love with years ago. The chicken tenders were good though, just as I expected, but the dirty rice, wasn't so dirty

Employees are rude, they were using inappropriate language from the kitchen. Waited for cold food for 30 minutes. Very unprofessional

Stopped here to eat and they said half of the menu was lunch only even though there is no difference in the chicken tender meal I wanted vs the breakfast meal. Only difference was a biscuit. Was told they were out of ketchup and almost out of chicken come on. Finally got my meal and the chicken tender biscuit I got was extremely rubbery.

With 3 managers, one of whom is supposedly a GM, curbside pickup customers are being forgotten. After waiting 30 minutes after placing my order, which is 15 minutes late, I go inside. I’m met with my food getting cold on the counter while the three managers are doing next to nothing. There are no customers left in the drive thru or inside the restaurant- only one forgotten customer sitting in the curbside pickup. The managers simply make excuses about how busy the drive thru has been (remember it’s empty now) and state I’ll have to wait another 10+ minutes while they recook the food. There wasn’t a single apology. There was no attempt to make the situation any better. There was only the demand that I wait even longer. I can’t recommend this restaurant.

Food is generally decent but service has sucked for years. After four consecutive visits where I was unable to leave with food, I won't be back.

I'm going to start off with... Yikes 😬.

Placed my order through app for convince since I don't know the menu too well yet. Pulled up and didn't have a way to select my parking spot.
I waited for my order to be ready for pickup and went ahead and called the store, per the app. Only rang for about 2 minutes and then it just hung up.

I walked in and no one was behind the counter. An employee that was cleaning the lobby stopped what she was doing to take care of me. She walked up to a hidden corner and told the other 3 employees that I was standing out in the lobby waiting for my food.

So as I was waiting (they had only at this point started making my food despite it saying that my food was ready), they made it seem as though their whole world was falling apart.
The drive thru employee has the drink machine run out of Diet coke while she was trying to fill a drink. How I know is that she decided to scream it out loud and then proceeded to walk to the back area and change out the syrup screaming "I HATE IT HERE". The employee that was cleaning the lobby was mortified.

The people trying to to make my order yelled over at the cook who I guess ran out of some of the food. They were out of chicken strips and fries, which were on my order that was "ready to be picked up". The cook also snapped back at the other employees, making it a very hostile situation.

Another customer walked in and the employee that was cleaning the lobby stopped what she was doing to take his order. After which she went to the grill area and started to make his order all the whole the other 4 employees in the grill area seemed to move around a bunch but never actually do anything. Interestingly enough, she was able to excite the other employees enough to actually get things moving.

I was offered my drink cups,so i proceeded to make my Drinks and take them to the car. The drink station was in complete disrepair. It seemed like the ice had been constantly melting and was dripping out of the spout. The issue ends up being that the drop tray was completely full.

I waited for 30 minutes in line inside and they never attended to me, they even had 4 employees at the drive-thru and none of them came to assist me.

There were more than 6 people in line and they never came.

Drive through experience was really good. The service was fast and the food was ready quickly. Bojangles is my new pick for best Fast Food breakfast in the "stuff on a biscuit" category.

Edited from 5 stars.

Food is great if you all might to wait for it and the time to go through the bag to check that nothing is missing. Staff just seems clueless. Last online order was finally done 20 minutes past the time the app said it would ready with ZERO ppl in line or dining room.

Love Bojangles. This location is the only one near me. It's always clean and the staff is always nice and polite. Occasionally I get home with my food and the biscuit is hard as the table, but I guess that's the breaks sometimes. Still can't beat the jangles.
