One of the most modern distilleries. Well worth the tour.

Had the best time doing the tour and learned something about Bulleit that we didn’t know prior-they really are “different” and it made us like the brand even more for who they are and what they represent! I won’t say exactly what so not to spoil it for anyone but if you tour several distilleries-this one is definitely different in a good clean way! ;)
buy a bottle and custom make your own label (included) it’s worth it-also makes a great gift idea for your bourbon babes/buddies!

Did the tasting on 8/14 and had a great experience, atmosphere and drinks are great!

Bulleit made for a more interesting tour than I expected going in. They’re owned by one of the biggest corporations making spirits today, so I expected something maybe a bit less interesting, but it turned out to be fairly entertaining. A short bus ride took our group to the brewing and distilling area, and the rundown of different yeasts was quite enlightening. It wasn’t a terribly long tour, though, and we quickly got to the tasting. The tastings were paired with different scents to make for a more interactive experience, and the whiskey was quite nice. The shop was well stocked and the waiting room up front was comfortable. Overall I think it was worth the visit.

Stopped in to see where the infamous Bulleit whiskey was made. Lovely experience. They have a gift shop and a tasting room with many different places to sit (inside and outside). You can take a tour of the distillery with purchased tickets, but plan accordingly since they only have so many tours a day and limited availability. Otherwise, fun little detour on a roadtrip. If you have objections on prices, it may not be for you though. I had a lavender honey drink and it was about $20 for one, but I’d recommend it for the experience.

We only stopped by the visitor center. Tried a flight. It's a really good bourbon. Would lime to do the tour.

We stopped here last minute and left with a bit to be desired. No open tours and you don’t see the “try a flight” sign until you’re on the way out. It has a very boujee feel and very expensive drinks, not a terrible spot to check out and a decent gift shop tho.

This was our first stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and I think it was also our favorite stop. Perhaps I’m a bit biased because Bulleit is my go-to bourbon, but I think of all the distillery experiences, this one showed the perfect amount of detail for the process. I never stood in one spot for too long so that my feet started hurting and the tour guide never lost my attention. I would gladly recommend touring the Bulleit facility.

Great Tour and great place

Every year my wife and I make the 8 hour drive to Kentucky to enjoy the Bourbon on the Banks Festival and to enjoy touring a few different bourbon distilleries. This year we wanted to tour the Bulleit Distillery. We tried to purchase last minute tickets online for a tour but they were sold out (poor planning on MY part). But I said let’s at least stop by and visit the gift shop. Once there, I decided I’d go ask if they had any last minute cancellations for two. To my surprise they did. Our tour guide was “Claire, with the red hair” (her words not mine). Claire was very knowledgeable about the entire process of making the different products, the distilleries origins & history. She took the time to answer every one’s questions and even funny jokes throughout the entire tour. So if you’re ever in the area and you want an enjoyable experience learning about bourbon? Go see “Claire with the Red hair”. She was quite GREAT!

Bulleit distillery is one of our favorite places to visit. Their ever changing bar menu to enjoy with our friends is awesome. We have done all the small classes and tours and they never fail
