Was driving everywhere to find somewhere to eat. Was gonna eat at our usual spot Bread and Deli in kukui grove (their clam chowder bowls for 8$ is so good) but they were closed (everything closes super early on Kauai aside from all the tourist spots in Kapaa) we settled for this Mexican food truck and it was really good. 18$ is a little steep for me but it is in kapaa and a big portion. The chimichanga was huge and I always love having something fresh to go with it as all the meat beans and rice can be heavy. On top they put lettuce, tomatoes some guacamole cheese and sour cream. The beans on the side were a little bland and the rice is well, rice. The meat was very tender and all in all good. I was surprised that they didn't have horchata, my boyfriend and I always look forward to trying new horchatas from different Mexican eatery's so we were a little bummed out about that. Since Kapaa is a busy road and it's kind of off the main road it's a little hard to find parking. I think there was a parking lot across the street but hard to tell, we just pulled over on the side of the food truck. The server was very nice and their menu was displayed on the side of the truck which I love. I always have to visually see what I'm getting so there's no surprises when I receive the food!

Absolutely the best fish tacos any of us have ever eaten! Great service, outdoor tables and the food was fantastic.

The food is amazing and they have friendly staff. These have been the best fish tacos I've had with some amazing cilantro sauce. The tortillas are hand-made and to die for. If you're looking for some authentic Mexican food go there, you won't regret it!

I came at 7:24 not knowing that they close at 7:30 (11/17), and they still let me order. I love the tacos here they always smack. Friendly people and great tasting food. They're always out of al pastor, but I only have time to come at night, get there earlier if pork is your jam.

Gourmet tacos? Yes, please! These bad boys are guaranteed to hit the spot. Tried shrimp, carnitas, and mahi mahi...and that salsa verde is fire!! Literally. Love!!!

Really good tacos. Especially take the shrimp tacos. Very juicy. Fish taco a bit dry as well as the chicken one. Although kids enjoyed them.

I went here to try their shrimp tacos, but they didn't have shrimp when I went. I ended up getting the fish taco plate, which was tasty.

Yo. This is as good or better than a lot of taquerias in Los Angeles. Highly recommend the fish and asada tacos. With that salsa. Yum. Eating this will make you muy feliz.

I don't know how ANYONE is giving this place less than 5 stars. I have lived in both Texas and Mexico and have had my fair share of authentic Mexican food and EL TACO FELIZ is the real deal from her homemade tortillas to every single touch of seasoning, cilantro, fresh guacamole. This place cannot be beat. I also saw someone complain about the wait for food. Every time I've gone my taco platter never takes longer than 5 minutes but if you have to wait or there is a line of people waiting for food... Good things don't happen fast. There are fast food places for that. This woman is cooking everything solo and her son runs her orders. I have YET to find this tasty of Mexican food anywhere else on island and I am a local so I've tried a few spots. If you're visiting YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON THIS FOOD! Wow! Best truck in town. She has vegan, vegetarian and beef, chicken and shrimp options. Perfect for the whole family.

We ordered the shrimp tacos and the carne asada tacos. Everything was delicious!! Get there early because a lot of the food options sell out early.

Great food, even better service. Always quick and hot, and delicious. One of the best late night spots for food in downtown Louisville.

We stopped by this food truck since this received high ratings and were attracted to the cute ambience and lights. It's in this cute area where there's a lot of food trucks and cute shops. It took 15ish minutes to get our food. Diablo burrito ($14.50): this was the best dish out of the 3. It had a nice kick to it with shrimp. There could've been more shrimp however but the flavor was all there. The burrito was also pretty small. There's bigger and better tacos in the mainland.Feliz bowl with mahi ($14.50): this was so salty dish. I got tired of this bowl fast. Mahi mahi tacos ($12.50): only came with 2 tacos. Small portions. The food truck is known for their fish and this fish was dry and bland. The tacos didn't have much flavor.
