I frequent this establishment very often with my daughter and we always get the same thing, Double order of hash browns with a piece of toast. Well ever since this new girl has started working she always over charges. A double order of hash browns X2 is normally around $9.60 or so (a double is $4.00). Today I paid over $15.00 for that exact order. Which means I paid at least $6.00 for a piece of toast and tax. I understand the To-go order fee and I always tip but she was originally going to charge me $19 something until I said something. Money is hard to come by and if you don’t know the prices of the establishment of where you work then you need more training or you need to pay more attention. I will not be back as long as she is working. Not to mention this place is never clean when you come and the menus are always sticky!

One of the waffle house in Shelbyville on Mount Eden Road just off 65 This place is disgustingly unclean. In a high-paced work environment, cleanliness should be a priority - cleaning floors, taking out trash and sanitizing counters, especially cooking areas. However, customer service is severely subpar, resulting in extended waits. Staff is overly sociable, dedicating excessive time to tables. Food is satisfactory but imperfect. Employees often stand idle or smoke outside, neglecting cleanliness. With a large staff, the manager should be ashamed. What is being done? Cleaner Waffle Houses, despite high traffic, set a better example.
Had breakfast here before starting our drive to Morgantown, WV. Service was excellent and our meals were perfect. My wife had an egg over medium with her pecan waffle. I had scrambled eggs, has browns scattered smothered and chunked, sausage and toast. It was a great way to start our drive.

Went in at 1130 pm Saturday night 4 people at 1 table and me at the counter , I sat there and watched the fruitcake cook have a total melt down due to the 1 tables order never got my food the cook was cursing in front of the patrons and I sat there waiting for my order for 50 minutes till I got up and walked out this is hands down one of the worst I've ever been to and probably should be shut down

Waffle House franchises are so consistent. I've been to several in the Roanoke area and it's always fast and efficient service, and the staff doing well at accommodating my little ones. Good food and decent prices! We love the Waffle House!
