I got a build-your-own two slices with normal crust (not gf), vegan cheese, red sauce, olives, bell peppers, garlic, mushrooms, and onions. It was 🔥 especially with their house hot sauce. I highly recommended stopping here after a day of hiking. I also really appreciated the staff clarifying whether I had any dairy allergies, because I do and they used clean utensils to handle my food.

I generally don't bother with leaving a lowreview, but being how this eatery was built up to me to be, I'm VERY disappointed to say the least. Parking is tricky and place is always hoppin', which is a good thing! Intense getting in and out due to location. The building is old, I get it, but seats were so old with broken leather cracks you could see threading. Cashier very complainey and nun too happy, but cordial. The pizza itself, well, the cheese and pepperoni were pretty good as a topping, but there wasn't anything else to it much. The crust was overdone, flat and verrry hard, not good at all and there was nearly no sauce. The toppings slid off right of the crust. The only sausage was in one huge clump right in the middle of the thing and pepperoni was on mostly middle and one side of pizza. I called ahead of time to place order. Phonecall was very rushed for a first time customer. So, needless to say, my family and I will probably never go back except to shoot some hoops and have a coke. Verrrrry UNimpressed.

I stopped here because of the high reviews but it’s the worst pizza I’ve had in my entire life. Not sure what kind of food you all have been eating but….

Best pizza ever! Great food, nice atmosphere.

The pizza used to be amazing and unique to Miguel’s. The crust was so thin on the bottom with a chewy, bubbly edge. Now it tastes and looks like a premade par cooked crust from the grocery store. Not really recommended anymore.

We were really disappointed during our visit. The food is priced just fine but it's just painfully mediocre. The only way you were going to give it high marks is due to the fact that you were starving after a day of hiking canoeing or outdoor activities. The beer selection is excellent and priced very fairly.

The people working the counter were not friendly. Frankly they seemed miserable. Everything about a restaurant experience get boiled down to service. Mediocre food and excellent service sometimes makes the difference! Mediocre food and depressed service makes for a lousy vibe.

This trend continued when we sat outside. The guy who came and brought us the food did not even respond when we said thank you. It looked like he hated his job.

The restrooms on the main restaurant we're dirty but functional. The restrooms outside or among the worst I've ever seen. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest bit. It's clear they have not been cleaned in years.

All of this really makes me question the cleanliness of the actual kitchen. Maybe it's spotless! But the lack of attention to detail throughout the entire process leaves me uneasy. The next time we are hiking we will pick other places. I've been told that it's really a hit-or-miss experience and hopefully that is the case. If we go back and have an excellent time I will update this review. Until then we were not impressed and our daughters did not even care about taking the leftover pizza to go.

We came in to try based off of the reviews. I really wanted to like Miguel’s. It’s a very cute place. However, the pizza that I had was every sub par. There was absolutely no flavor. The sauce was watery, the crust had no flavor and tasted like it was frozen and bland. The crust was a little on the undercooked side for me, with toppings falling off as you grabbed a slice. Both the tomato based sauce and bbq sauce were light on both the portion and flavor. I did not taste any seasoning on the pizza. I found it missing the typical pizza seasonings. Was very disappointed with the food. Again, it’s a cute place, but the food needs improvement. Hopefully we just visited on an “off” day, but based off other reviews, it appears the quality has declined.

We come here every time we go visit the Gorge. We never had any quality issues before. We recently ordered a pasta bowl and asked for Alfredo sauce. They gave us tomato sauce on the first attempt and then also the second. I never received my refund after the third attempt and promise of a refund.

It was very disappointing. The first mistake was understandable - we got there during a rush and it took forever to receive our food. But by the time we got the 1st remake, the line was dead and I watched the young woman write the order down before she input it on her screen. How hard is it to put Alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce?

I've heard a lot about this place but have never been until now. It was a great experience! The service was friendly and helpful, there were plenty of options for pizza and they also had sandwiches. The prices were reasonable and the ambiance was cool. Very popular and trendy restaurant! The pizza was delicious ? I would definitely recommend stopping here after a long day hiking at the Red River Gorge ?
