Wow

Had our wedding reception here. Over $1700 Bill, $50 for Chaffing Dishes that did not include heating or ice for cooling. Brought the food out late and then did not bring silverware or Dishes. When we asked about it they said you have to pay for it separately...then charged me $50 for paper plates and plastic silverware. Stared at us like we were dumb and took 10 mins to bring it out once we paid the $50 for it. Does not say anywhere on the invoice that silverware and dinnerware are not included....and you would think $1700 for 30 people would cover that. Food was not great either....but maybe that's because the food was luke warm. Had a good time anyways but definitely will not be coming back.

I would have given it 5 stars, but as we drove back, we noticed on the receipt that they charged us $3 for tap water ($1.50 each). We wanted beer, but it was Sunday before 1 pm. I can't remember ever being charged for tap water. Having said all that, the food was outstanding!!! We'll be back when we can have a beer with it.

Food was really good. Came out too fast to be fresh. But still very good.

I had a very good burger here that was layered in meats. The meal filled me up as well.

🔥 Thatcher’s BBQ: Smoked, Sauced & Seriously Satisfying

If you’re near Red River Gorge and even thinking about BBQ, do yourself a favor and head to Thatcher’s.

I ordered the BBQ Sundae—and wow. Layers of pulled pork, baked beans, and slaw stacked in a cup like a smoky, savory parfait of perfection. Every bite was balanced, bold, and downright phenomenal.

We also tried the brisket, which was melt-in-your-mouth tender with just the right bark and smoke. And let’s talk about the potato salad—creamy, tangy, and hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. It might’ve stolen the show.

This place is casual, quick, and full of flavor. Thatcher’s isn’t just a meal...it’s a BBQ experience you’ll want seconds (and thirds) of. 🍖🔥

I ordered the 3 Pulled chicken slider meal with a side of cole slaw and potato salad. Every single bite melted in my mouth. I'm gonna crave that potato salad, d@mn you ❤️

It would rock if they had baked potatoes as a side option, since I'm not big on hashbrown casserole.

An extra AC unit inside would make the atmosphere more delightful, but it's already warm and welcoming!
