Ordered a carrot cake, received carrot on top and chocolate on bottom. Honestly I could assemble a cake nicer looking. Icing was delicious though.

We use Amon's every January for our CEU course. We host about 60 people and Amon's delivers a great meal each year. The price is usually about 10-15$ a plate and if you ask to feed 60, it'll feed 75! Always more food than we order, always plenty left over and everybody loves the food (especially their homemade rolls!)

Used to be my favorite donut place. I just walked out because there was a ROACH crawling in the donut display case. Never again!

Their cream filled donuts are delicious. Great place to go and the woman who waited on me answered every one of my questions.

I do not have photos. But ordered (2) 2 biscuit and gravy trays and then we got a apple fritter, peanut butter brownie, normal glazed donut, and a glazed raspberry filled donut. And if the donuts had not been good this would of had even less stars. I don't know if there gravy always taste bland but it was NOT good at all. The sausage even tasted funky and spoiled to me. I added salt/pepper and it truly didn't help. I have lived in KY since 2009 and today was my first time ever and while I'll be back for pastries etc I will not give there food another try. I'd love to make my sausage gravy for your establishment and unless it was a bad day for it, I feel that it would be a TOP SELLER if its not now. My husband also said the same thing. That the gravy was bland and that in fact the sausage didn't taste right. I thought it may of just been me. I aint sure if its homemade gravy OR packaged but it needs fixed. And also, everyone shouldn't look like they hate there job. Even if you do SMILE.

I ordered one for an event that I was having and it looked like a kid decorated it. It wasn’t the right colors and the script you couldn’t even read. It was terrible. It ruined my event. I had to go buy one from Kroger . Do not order a cake from here.I wish I had the wherewithal to have taken a picture of it. I am stunned that they would even have the courage to present that cake to me. It was terrible.

Cute place, but the boston creme filling was frosting instead of custard, and the frosting on the cookie wasn’t very palatable, it was white but tasted strongly of food dye. The service was good and the shop was cute, i think it would be improved if any of the the items were labeled

This is one of the best places to go in somerset for breakfast and lunch, excellent service, the staff is wonderful and kind, best homemade donuts in town. Great home cooked, made to order menu, highly recommended. Very reasonable priced.

My dad and I decided to meet here for breakfast this morning, a break away from the likes of cracker barrel, bob evans etc. Ill start off by saying that we met at 10am and they were out of gravy. They stop serving breakfast at 10:30, totally understandable. The woman that proceeded to take our order was very nice, unfortunately, this is the only nice thing I can say, sadly, as this place has been a business in somerset longer than I've been alive I do beleive. I ordered the tenderloin biscuit and scrambled eggs. I received a chicken nugget sized tenderloin, (smaller than a chicken nugget and much thinner) that had been cut in half and eggs that were oily as if once they were scrambled, they added a half of a cup of oil to them. At this point, it's simply a lack of food and quality of the food issue.
This alone, most likely would not have prompted this review. Where it turns to simply unacceptable, at least for me, is that the establishment was a HAVEN for swarming flies. So much in fact, there was no less than 3-5, sometimes even more at our table, or attempting to land on one of us or our plates. I can deal with a restaurant having a bad day, being out of a menu item or feeding me the quanity of a 5 year old boy, but I can not deal with disgust. An occasional fly, hey its summer time, it happens. A hot spot and and meeting place where flies go to get fed, meet and get to know one another, I can not do. Ill give it a hard pass.

In an effort to shop local I gave this place a chance. The first thing I noticed was the awful smokiness, so I ordered to-go. I ordered a tenderloin biscuit and a side of sweet potato fries for $8.14. I went to the donut side and bought a bag of buttery dinner rolls and a custard filled donut for $9.88. When I got out to the car and opened my food, I was shocked to see how tiny the portions were. The meat on the biscuit was barely a bite. I took it back inside to get my money back so I could go spend it on something that would actually give me sustenance. I got back in the car thinking well at least I still have the rolls... I bit into one and it was very dry and tasted like freezer burn and cigarettes. I tossed it out the window. The donut was okay. I didn't take the rolls back, but I will not be eating them. I'm taking them home for the birds. Everyone working in there looked miserable except for the girl selling donuts. She smiled. I want to support local business, but they'll have to do better than this.
