Went here for a plain double shot of espresso today to get a feel for the place, it was truly just awful. It was over extracted, my husband got a mocha latte, I think it was just a cup of chocolate milk. I don't think it's the coffee, it didn't seem too busy but I think there's was only one person doing the espresso but their were 3 people behind the register..it's the second time I've tried this place. I really really wanted to like it 😩 I will say the orange cranberry muffin was absolutely delicious and will be back for pastries. Maybe the workers need to be trained better on how to pull shots id definitely check and make sure they have been. Good service, bad coffee unless you want Starbucks quality and it's barely even that sadly. Also it's incredibly hot in there, way too hot.

When the barista handed me my pumpkin spice latte with two extra shots, she said it was going to be delicious. She was correct, it's the best! The raspberry white chocolate scone is just as good. Service is friendly and efficient.

Hands down best coffee, ever! Brings shame to Starbucks - not even in the same league. Love the caramel macchiato and the caramel jo. I’ve never had anything I didn’t love.
Great coffee as always !!!

I travel through this area fairly regularly, and this was a gem of a find. The coffee was perfection and they have a wonderful selection of other items. Mugs/cups, soy, handmade candles, apparel, etc. The people were so friendly, reminding you there is still a sense of community between us, even as strangers. It was a very pleasant experience, and I will definitely visit again.

First time I've been there. Will definitely go back. Everyone was so sweet. So refreshing not being felt like you're just a dollar walking in the door.

The place used to be very nice and had the best coffee I town but now they cater more to the trendy people and tourists rather than coffee enjoyers. On 3 separate occasions within the last year my coffee has been watered down and on one of those occasions I completely tossed it once I got home. Personally would rather have Starbucks coffee over Baxter’s anyday now due to the disappointment I’ve faced. But honestly speaking the two best local places are Battlefield and Rhodested.

I'm a coffee snob and am not ashamed to admit it. Baxter's has the best coffee I've ever had that I didn't make myself at home. Always fresh. Never bitter. Excellent quality and flavor. You just can't get better coffee at a coffeehouse. Staff is quick and efficient. Love it!

Lovely kids’ corner and great merch along with nice people!
Baxter's Coffee hits the spot! My frozen mocha, the Blitz, was delicious and stayed perfectly chilled throughout the drink. Even with a long line at lunchtime, the service was speedy – we were in and out within 5-10 minutes.

Love some Baxters. The only thing better than the coffee is the service! Highly recommend! A must stop when I'm in Somerset.
