Penn Station Reviews
We love eating at Penn Station in Somerset! Sandwiches are always made fresh, exactly how we like them (and we’re picky), and the service is always amazing!! I think it’s also important to note how much the manager Heather Compton does for our community here in Pulaski County. She is always willing to help support local sports teams and even goes above and beyond with other local fundraising specials when necessary. That’s the kind of businesses we like to support, and then...read full review
The food is good for sure and for the most part the employees are nice. But the main manager hired her son and he had no idea what he was doing. My mother politely asked for our order and he keep reaching what we wanted despite her saying it over and over again. She was losing her patients but she wasn't rude. Anyone would get impatient. So he called his mom over so she could help him. And my mom was still not rude. I applied for this job and this same day had a job interview....read full review
So I took my wife and daughter out to lunch yesterday and it was so great! We needed so time with our daughter in a bad way, we hadn't had any for a while. The food was great and the fried were the bomb! The staff was great and I even thanked them for the food afterward, thanks Ahman for helping us create a memory!

Penn Station East Coast Subs is located in a prime spot in midtown, conveniently close to subway access. The restaurant maintains a clean environment, and the staff are efficient and friendly, making customers feel welcome. While there have been mentions of long waiting times and high prices, the food quality and service remain exceptional. The steak Philly might have very little steak, yet the sandwiches are tasty and prepared well. Many believe it is worth the price, especially compared to options like Subway, as it blows them out of the water. The French fries can be hit or miss, but when paired with a sub, they hit better when hungry. Customers appreciate the fresh and delicious food. Additionally, the restaurant is involved in the community, supporting first responders and other local efforts. Overall, even though it may be expensive, the combination of delicious food, great service, and community involvement makes for a worthwhile dining experience.
