Fabulous lunch! Great food - we had the chicken quarter, a steak dish, and three different sides - all delicious, beautifully served, with generous portions. Jeff was our server, and he did a great job. He gave just the right amount of information/recommendations, checked in often without being intrusive, and of course brought our food out promptly. If you live or are traveling anywhere in or near Somerset, make a point to get a meal at here. No matter if you’re Peruvian yourself or have never eaten anything but KFC I’m sure you’ll find something delicious on the menu.

We came in to the absolute cleanest restaurant we have been in, the smell is amazing. The server greeted us, asked our names and actually remembered them. The atmosphere is great good music playing, interesting conversations with the staff and the decore and bright colors are very happy and inviting. The food came out quickly and was completely delicious, absolutely zero criticism, its as near perfect as I have experienced in a restaurant. Come on Somerset ky ! What are yall doing? This place should be packed and have a 2 hour wait every single night !!!! Incredible all the way around !!! My new favorite restaurant!!!!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been completely impressed by a restaurant. Tasty Peru knocked it out of the park ! We were greeted at the door by the manager, and he shook everyone’s hands and showed us to the table. The wait staff were very knowledgeable about all the items on the menu and answered all of our questions as none of us had eaten Peruvian cuisine before. Trust me when I say Peruvian food has never been on my radar, but after eating at Tasty Peru, I will be back and I’ll be bringing friends with me ! As for the food, the quality, presentation and quantity were thoroughly pleasing. They explained how it would be prepared and what to expect. Again, I was very impressed with the Tasty Peru. Try it. You will not be disappointed.

The service was the first great impression. The staff greeted us like family, introduced themselves, the cuisine, and explained the menu. The service quick and spot on. I ordered chicken, plantains, sweet potatoes and rice. IT WAS ABSOUTELY PERFECT. Definitely try the sauces on your chicken. Of course, because the meal was perfect, and although quite filling, I couldn't pass up the dessert. It was also PERFECT. I can't vocalize properly how wonderful the whole experience was. I had never had Peruvian food and loved it.
No question I will drive up from Bowling Green again and again to eat here!!!

The manager met us at the door and shook everyone's hands and greeted us in the kindest way possible. The servers were extremely knowledgeable with the menu and the origin of the foods. Then the food came out. I'm not exaggerating one bit when i say we were all blown away with the quality, flavor and presentation of the food. IT WAS AMAZING !!! We will be back soon to enjoy this phenomenal family owned and operated restaurant.

Our first experience with Peruvian food & we are big fans! Jefferson, our waiter, was the best! He was very kind and helpful. We would make a trip from TN to have this food again! Be sure to ask about the purple corn drink, Chicha Morada.

Peruvian food in Somerset?? I had to stop by and give it a try and I’m happy I did because it did not disappoint! The lomo saltado was outstanding.. one of the best I’ve ever had. Every bite was savory, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It’s rare to find a spot that delivers both authenticity and great taste like this. Highly recommend for anyone craving Peruvian food or looking to try something new.
