While visiting Somerset we asked our hotel clerk about coffee places she suggested Baxters and im so glad she did. This was the best coffee place I've ever been too hands down better than Starbucks

Baxter's is the to go to place for coffee in the Lake Cumberland area of Somerset. The staff is wonderful and their muffins are to die for.

Baxter’s has great fresh coffee every time. I have never left disappointed. I love it so much that I gave it to friends for Christmas last year. Their pastries are awesome also. Just go, you will love it.

omg the buffets are home cooked, straight up scratch! friendly, clean, feel at home the whole time! breakfast bar has 3 gravies, 6 meats i think, and the french toast doesn't need any topping! unbelievable, truly! i love everything about this place, they are true to there word, love it!
I always love eating in and stuffing myself with bread sticks, even though I know better. The FOOD is also very good, along with the service. Pricing is very reasonable too!

Had eaten at Bray's a few months ago and enjoyed the food. Planned to eat there again today and the doors were locked and it appears to be closed. No signs that I seen.
