pulled up to get a to go order, got out of my car and at least 8 staff members were out back smoking weed. the smell hit me in my face as i was trying to order my food at the outdoor window. wait time on my food was fine, but unfortunately everything i ordered was pretty much inedible. i eat at texas in georgetown all the time and have never tried food at the somerset location. my mac and cheese was watery and had the flavor of buttered noodles, the meat in my chili was crunchy? (not entirely sure how thats even possible) and it tasted like they dumped a cup of salt in it. my steak was okay. cant expect much from a to-go steak. the shrimp was nasty and had wood in it from the skewers they used. the sauce that came with the cactus blossom was sour and chunky (this sauce is usually my favorite so i ordered extra and the extra one was also sour and chunky) super unfortunate experience, i will stick to the georgetown location. the two staff members i interacted with were nice. the bread was good at least!

The food here is always good but nothing really stands out. I've tried just about everything on the menu and my favorite main course is either the Texas slammer hamburger or the country fried steak. The service is a hit or a miss just because it's so busy and chaotic in the atmosphere is what you would expect from a steakhouse chain

Let's first start off with the fact that we love Texas roadhouse . Anytime we have a chance to get away and have dinner my wife and I always picks TRH. So today I was taking my wife out for her birthday. So of course we where excited to go out and eat. After we sat our server (daemon)came over and took our drink order and let us know he was new. He only been serving for 5 days and that he was a bus boy. So with that being said I knew there might be some mistakes and that was fine. So after receiving our appetizer we waited 20mins to get the ranch that we asked to come out with it. Then our dinners came out 2 16oz. ribeyes. My wife's steak came out with out her sides and he asked her what 2 sides did she order and then said he would be right back and would go check on them. So finally after she was done eating her steak he came out with only one of them. We asked for the bill and asked him to just take off the other side from the bill. He said he would check on that. So with out and more waiting we just left the money on the table for the bill and left. After leaving and walking around back a group of employees where all hanging outside the back door smoking. If your employees are having a hard time keeping up there should be no time for employees to be smoking. This is not how TRH runs. Do better!!

It was a very busy Sunday afternoon. The place was packed, we waited 40 mins for a booth and there was trash everywhere around the tables in the back but the food was delicious and we had a very good waitress. She was proficient and attentive.

We found a fried FLY in our cactus blossom. Heard that right… an insect fried into our food! Utter disgust. The server was apologetic but the manger did not care at all! Never even came to apologize after my husband took the fly to the manager to show him!!! Never ever going to Texas Roadhouse again anywhere. So nasty.

We came to Texas Roadhouse Somerset a few months ago to have dinner. Our service was everything but good. We had to get our own silverware, no drink refills, and waited well over an hour for our food and we were the only ones in our section as the place was not busy. We watched the waitress smoke her vape in the building while we were trying to get her attention for silverware. Needless to say we didn’t tip well. A couple days later we noticed a larger charge from Texas Roadhouse on our bank statement. I called the restaurant to ask them to pull our signed slip to double check what we had put down for a tip and the manager agreed the signed receipt did not match what we were charged. The waitress had given herself a larger tip in the computer. We asked for this to be corrected and the manager agreed and apologized. That never happened and the waitress walked away with more money from us. They have had months to make these changes. Stealing isn’t called for. I’d think long and hard before anyone decides to go here.
I had a 6oz sirloin done medium rare and it was cooked perfectly.

I am preparing to come to this restaurant to eat with a relative and the customer service has been very good, calling and asking questions and getting ahold of a manager which is difficult consider.I know they are busy. The other steakhouse across from this Texas Roadhouse will not even talk to you and they will hang up on you and will not even tell you anything, if you have any questions regarding anything.Of course I know they are busy but they still will not even talk to you. I know there might be a very long way to get into the restaurant.But it is considerably better than going to the competitor across the street with that being said.I recommend this Texas Roadhouse.Also though there menu is much better than the competitor.

Went there on 07/8/26. My potato was half raw and my Bloody Mary was WAY hot from too much tobasco sauce. I had to water it down just to drink it. They also refused to allow us to sit at a table even though it was early in the afternoon. We should have left from the start, but wanted to give them a chance because this used 2B a good place to eat. Not anymore!!!
