We live close by and have been wanting to stop in and try their food for a while now. Last night we did and so happy we did! I love the Jam Burger and it was delicious! housemade ranch was great too! Other half got the meatloaf manthattan and loved it! Great set up inside loved the feel and the staff was friendly! We will definitely be coming back!

Best resturant in Nancy! the food is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. I am very pleased with the level of quality food and the value. I had the grilled pork BBQ pimento cheese on a french onion roll with thousand island dressing. The smoked devil eggs are too die for and so was the pork egg rolls. To top it all off I had some banana pudding. The dinning room opens in the next week or two and it is a really special place.

My wife and I had the smoked meatloaf sandwich meal. Ate in the car but it was one of the best lunches we've had. Nice people too. Jabez keeps getting better.

I was so excited to try this place since it moved to my neck of the woods, and it did not disappoint. I got the meatloaf sandwich daily special. It was so well-seasoned and flavorful, and the homemade bread took it to the next level. Also, do yourself a favor and try the banana pudding, it's some of the best I've had. Prices were very reasonable, staff was kind, and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
If I could give this place more stars I would. Best tasting food in a 50 mile radius hands down. Amazing and friendly staff, and very reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. Nothing negative to share about my experience here. It is well worth the drive but call ahead as there is no dine-in option yet. The omelet and grits was fantastic!
Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options. Meat, vegetables, eggs, grits etc.

New in town, I decided to try the WD. Been back several times. People are great, the food is TOO GOOD (guaranteed to fill) and when I asked how their home fries were made a gentleman (I presume owner) gave me a lecture on the science of cooking pan-fried potatoes. Another time I was there with a friend who really knows the food business (ran one of largest food companies in the US) and he agreed. We were out on a boat all day and didn't get hungry at all. Excellent family place. Funky furniture. A real Southern cookery.

Oh my goodness!!!!Let’s start with how cute the inside of this place is !!! The tables are covered in such cute fabric !! It’s definitely a vibe !!!!Then let’s talk about that service !!! They are welcoming , kind and genuinely happy you have choose to eat with them !!! The young lady was quick and helpful !! She knew what she was doing and did it well !!! The young man seemed newer but so polite !!! He checked on us several times !!! They made sure we had everything we needed and kept making sure !!! The service was top notch !!! The owner was just as welcoming and friendly !! He chatted with us and made our visit even better !!!Now the food ….. oh my goodness !!!! First off we didn’t have enough time to try everything on the menu we wanted !!!Just reading the menu you know your in for some good food!!! It’s a unique menu for sure !!!Our kids got pancakes and French toast and loved them !!! But we had soup beans , biscuits and gravy , fries bologna , spicy messy, fried potatoes stack,burger, apple butter tenderloin sandwich mashed potatoes!!!!!!!! Let me tell you it was all amazing not just okay but so darn good !!!!We visited two days in a row because we just loved everything so much !!!! We weren’t disappointed!!!Definitely a favorite spot for our Burnside trips !!! We will for sure already be planning our next menu item to try !!!Also the have to go banana pudding and Oreo made up to take to go !!! Delicious !!!! There also was cute little item for sale that I’m not sure any other details of but it added to the charm of the whole visit !!!Charles and his staff are running an amazing family restaurant!!! Trust me you want to eat here !!!

You order first and sit down (there is PLENTY of seating) or sit down and then order whatever you prefer.We loved it so much we came twice on our small two day trip. The food. Oh my GOD. Absolutely delicious, fresh and both times it came out so quickly even for our big group!We have tried a lot!Soup beans 10/10Chocolate Gravy and biscuit 10/10Biscuits and Gravy 10/10THE PANCAKES 20/10Burger and chili cheese fries 10/10Peanut butter french toast ? 12/10SPICY MESSY ? 12/10TATER STACK 100/10 so deliciousThe fried bologna is thick and absolutely delicious!We can’t wait to come back!
