Recently I was diagnosed with some food allergies, two of them being soy and dairy. I thought truly, how could I have Peking then? I’ve been asking around because it’s surprisingly difficult to find a place in Pikeville that isn’t geared almost exclusively toward the college crowd. Dandy’s kept coming up over and over as a recommendation.

From everyone I’ve spoken with, it attracts a broad mix of ages, which is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The photos seem to support that as well. It looks like a place where you can enjoy yourself without feeling like you’re twice the age of everyone in the room.

I’ve also read the reviews. Like any establishment, experiences vary, but I prefer to judge a place after seeing it for myself rather than relying on a single opinion.
