Fruit flies everywhere!! Very disappointing, as the food was actually very good. Seriously grossed me out as I was eating, I don't even want to know how many fruit flies are in the kitchen. Probably won't be returning.

Im writing this review bc of an order that was extremely not good. Not sure why but I returned the portion i did not eat. I asked for half of my $. Considering this restaurants food has NEVER disappointed me, I pleaded for them to have the refund towards my purchase. I ordered two different dumplings based on what a customer recommended. Yes I had a bad meal, but this had to be a bad day for the cook/ chef something!! So unlike this place to serve horrible food. Only dinned in once, AWESOME food and service for the price. The dumplings ordered no sauce or utensils! This one experience has prevented me to return to Oriental House.

Fantastic! You know, it's going to be a great place.When you're even more excited to see all the dishes that everybody else around you has gotten. I feel like no matter what you get, it's gonna be great. I've had the pleasure of sampling a couple dishes now.And I will definitely be back to sample a couple more.I haven't really found anything.I don't like yet.

The food is delicious, cheap, and good, but there was a problem with the server. I brought food orders and other foods, forgot the food I ordered, so I ordered them. Anyway, I don't recommend services and atmosphere except for eating.
This place has the best food. The duck was great. I particularly enjoyed the orange beef.

My family decided to eat at Oriental house for my birthday week. The restaurant looked clean and nice. The service was average. The food however was not memorable. The fried rice was bland and need lots of chili oil to taste anything. My son ordered the combination lo mein and it had a long piece of plastic in it that my son choked on. I called the manager over and showed her the plastic and she apologize. She took the dish back and made a new one. After we finished eating, I asked if they would take the lo mien off my bill and the manager said no since they made us a new one. My family and I will not be dining at this place anymore. Be careful if you plan to eat there, you just might get some plastic in your dish.

Best Chinese food in Louisville, bold statement but this location has the history and the food to back it up. Definitely worth the visit, plus they recently remodeled and it looks great. The portions are excellent and the menu is quite extensive.

A group of 12 studying Chinese culture & language chose to have family-style lunch of variety of authentic cuisine ... had a great experience with a variety of dishes ... flavors were superb & food & service was excellent ... we'll definitely be back for more!
