I was in search of ice cream on a Monday in Union County, Kentucky. In the tiny town of Sturgis, I found a bakery that sells a variety of deserts. There are several pastries like donuts. I went in with my son after his football game today for a little "pick me up"...we arent from the area but we had ridden by before for another game and made plans to stop next time. I'm so glad we did! The owner's son waited in us and was so friendly! I had the cookie dough ice cream and my son had chocolate...both were amazing! This lil bakery in downtown has some of the best jelly filled donuts with white icing that you will ever eat and the donut holes r to die for! Good customer service and the prices aren't bad for today's standards.
