I went wild today on the Hog Wild! Absolutely outstanding service from the order counter until the time I picked up the food. They offered sliced pork shoulder that was to die for. The pulled pork was tender and pure flavor. When was the last time that you got a GREAT food plate with two sides for $9 When was the last time you got a large sweet tea for $2 at a restaurant?
I got a shoulder plate with fries and slaw. The shoulder here is the BEST around anywhere!! I have ate barbecue all over KY, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina, and Hog Wild ranks at the top, plus Monroe County and Barren County Ky. are the only places I know anywhere you can get pork shoulder prepared this way!

Hog Wild catered our wedding a few weeks ago, and it was perfect! My husband is a Monroe County native, so it was only fitting that we have Monroe Co BBQ for our dinner!! I couldn’t have picked a better choice!! Love the food and the service!!

Tried this place for Father's Day and I can tell ya this place is Amazing! This is the best bbq we've eaten and we've been to many places, the people are awesome and make ya feel right at home!! My husband and I are out here driving around on vacation from Wisconsin. We were referred here by a local and it was AMAZING! We each got a sample platter with ribs, chicken breasts, steak and pulled pork. I’m usually not a huge fan of bbq, but I cleaned my plate and purred the whole way through! Then we each grabbed a slice of cake (strawberry and pecan) and it was the most moist and flavorful cake ever. You cannot miss eating here with such fantastic food and wonderful, local vibe!!

The staff is awesome and food is great !! We went through the drive thru and they had us pull to a waiting parking spot. Even with that we only waited a few minutes less than 10 and we ordered 8 meals !! Our order was on point nothing left out and everything as expected.
