Swung by this bar after a few distilleries on our way to Lexington. Great bourbon selection, comfortable seating, friendly bartender(Trent I believe), had good conversions with both tourists/locals, and was able to buy a bottle of bourbon at the bar, which we can’t do back home. Thank folks!

We had a large group come in on a Wed night. Kendall was the bartender on and was working alone and she was THE best. She gave the best service and was so quick and friendly. Her drinks were made perfect. As someone from out of town..I would 10/10 recommend this bar to anyone visiting. Kendall was the star, but the bar itself has a great ambiance, loved the decor and the drink menu was fun and tasty. Love all the fall liberations!

Surprised to say, but tonight I was judged ( what I assume was due to my tee shirt and jeans ) I was passed by for service as if I did not even exist. Ignored as if i was trash. I have been here MANY times, for hours on end. ( FYI I love top shelf bourbon) However tonight, one of the only nights in the week that I have, at least lately to enjoy some bourbon in my local community. I was passed by because of how I was dressed...shame on you. I can promise thatI will be taking all of my friends from out of town to everywhere else. Amsden bourbon bar only caters to those who "dress the part" as opposed to those of us, that dare I say are regulars.

The best place to get drinks in Versailles! We were in town visiting Woodford Reserve and stopped in for drinks! The bartender was top notch…. By far the best old fashion and spicy margarita I’ve ever had!

Great place for a drink. Cosy, intimate but not too fancy. Amazing selection of bourbons and other drinks. They have their own bourbon barrel mix-one from Buffalo Trace, another from a distillery I can't remember the name. Bartender made us feel so welcome. Thank you!

What a great spot ! 100s of bourbon to choose from! You can get 1/4 oz , 1/2 oz if you wanted to try the pricy high end ones that you normally wouldn't pay 200$ a shot for. Very cute and cozy atmosphere but just fyi the place is ***tiny*** might want to get there early to be able to get a seat. There's some outdoor seating as well . Beautiful spot that almost resembles a speak easy . Friendly staff .

A must stop for any bourbon drinkers. They have more bourbons in one place than I have ever seen. I started our with Willet Wheated 8y Bourbon and finished with their own Knob Creek private selection. I did have a couple in-between but no need to go into all those details. Bottom line, if you like fancy bourbons or even bargain bourbons this is your place to sip in Versailles KY. Highly recommend. Sorry for the dark photos, but that is kind of the atmosphere.
