Went for lunch, expected maybe a "Hot Brown" Sandwich, or maybe some good ole fried chicken- not on the menu- Seemed like this would be a good breakfast place, I was there for lunch, and settled for a chicken sandwich with bacon on white bread. It was actually ok. The place was busy and I had to wait longer than I wanted- but the staff was very nice. Priced for regular folk, cheap for most places. It was OK, but just ok.

I had the egg and pancake with one meat breakfast plate and also got an extra side of chunk hash browns which were delicious. Bacon and eggs done exactly as I ordered. The two pancakes were light and fluffy, good flavor, perfectly cooked. Very good service. From time of order to food on the table was timely. Nice home decor, plenty of seating, plenty of parking. Two people with similar orders under $23. A fo back to place.

It was almost a close of a local restaurant that we enjoy, but without seasoning. The food was BLAND. It was nearly tasteless. I'm not sure whether they ran put of salt and pepper in the kitchen or if bland food is popular in Versailles (pronounced Versales locally). I enjoy these kinds of places as their nearly the perfect example of home cooking at times. But, despite what appeared to be a great selection of food on the menu, our food (a quesadilla, and a Doble bacon cheeseburger) just seemed lifeless. The jalapeño poppers were good, and temperature hot, but that was about it.Service was good, and parking was a little tight.

Unassuming restaurant with some awesome food. Shane's snowball, a riff on Biscuits and gravy ? with buttermilk buscuit filled with medium egg and 2 sausage patties smothered in gravy, is the perfect breakfast. Delicious. Good service.
