If you’re expecting a casual but upscale taphouse experience, I think you’ll like this as much as we did. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. I loved the fish tacos and my husband’s New York strip was perfect. Sam hooked us up with awesome beer choices and didn’t fail with his recommendations. Definitely returning!!!

The food was absolutely fantastic. Best Philly ive had in a while. Server was fantastic. But the hostess was rude. She had green hair. She got snotty with me. Was so weird. She rolled her eyes at me. She really upset me. You dont speak rude to customers who just walk in the door and dont roll your eyes. Amazing food Amazing Service HORRIBLE HOSTESS.

Sam and Sierra treated us like we were VIP’s! They found our hometown hockey game on the TV, treated me to a birthday surprise and made sure we had a memorable evening.

Food was great! I had the chicken tenders and pretzel/beer cheese, it was very good.
The bartender was very knowledgeable and gave us information on their beer selections.

The old guys, plus young Jim who only looks old, of the Old Guys Pub Crawl that has now visited 100 unique and not so unique local Lexington businesses with beer, love this place. We visited it awhile back and I realized I had failed to include it in our online dialogue. I think we were having so much fun at the VBC that I forgot to take photos. I threw in a couple generic of myself and Curtis who I think looks more 71 than 70. I think local brewed beers keep me looking younger than 75. This place was awesome to us. Thanks.
