Latest review:We are sitting in front of Knock on Wood. We drove a long way to get here and they decided to close early. This isn't the 1st time this has happened.We even rented a car to get here. The lady is in the shop but isn't going to let us in even though they advertise as open.We are hungry, tired and disappointed again. We even looked on They website to see if they were open. This is just rude.It's a shame. It is a lovely place when they can keep to their own hours.Just experienced anger and disappointment.And since we traveled a long distance, I'm not sure where we'll find a restroom.It's not like there are businesses in this locationWhat a shame!Older reviewLove this place! My husband and I met many wonderful people over lunch and enjoyed absolutely delicious food!You feel like family here.Shopping is a pleasure with so many beautiful, unique, and meaningful items.

Greeted with a warm smile upon entering. Awesome little hometown Restaurant & store. Calm & warm atmosphere with a good amount of seating.Food is reasonably priced for the amount of food. I got the Spicy Pimento Sandwich with a bowl of Cheesy Potato Soup & Lemonade.Staff are polite, professional, courteous, & hard working!Decent amount of parking out front.I look forward to the next time eating here.Thank you!

Chicken salad was great. Croissant seemed fresh. I had a side of hash brown casserole. I should have listened closer to the server when i asked about the ingredients (lots of butter and cream) little too rich for me. My wife had broccoli salad which she liked along with her chicken salad on wheat. Would return again - and hope then to try some the scrumptious looking deserts.

Might add a 5th star once I revisit for the amazing looking desserts! This is a charming little out of the way restaurant/cafe/shop. Breakfast was made fresh, quickly and fit the bill with homemade goodness. Shopping was fun with a little bit of everything - foods, jewelry, art, clothing. We will return for sure!

This is the most wonderful Cafe and mercantile store ever for so many reasons. First, the FOOD is so delicious and fresh. The desserts here look and taste like the most decadent desserts you could ever imagine. "A Baked Goods Lover Dream". The store has the cutest and perfect seasonal items to decorate your home with or purchase gifts for others. The clothing line and jewelry are fantastic, with top-quality trendy items that are gorgeous. The owner and salespeople are truly genuine and very friendly. My husband and I had a wonderful drive to Westport from Louisville and felt welcome there. I will be returning and bringing friends. This is a wonderful day to spend with your gal pals at or your significant other!! What A GEM that Westport KY can claim as its own! Love, Love, Love Knock on Wood!

I have been going to knock on wood since I was 6 years old before they had a full menu I was never not amazed with it. Now 9 years later I’m still very very impressed They have amazing food! Would recommend the Benedictine sandwich it’s amazing! ???

We were looking for a destination for a Saturday afternoon drive and my husband spotted this online. Great sandwiches, plentiful with delicious tomatoes, made to order. Sides were great too — all obviously homemade. Servers/kitchen workers were very friendly, smiling and pleasant. Store is cute. We watched a family with stairstep-aged kids buy ice cream cones, which was very cute. We decided next time we will come for ice cream only! Definitely recommend for a fun afternoon outing!
