Barleycorn's Brewhouse offers delicious beer with a flight selection that is highly regarded, and their brewer knows what he is doing, with every style of beer done exactly as it should be. The roast beef sandwich and Midwestern chicken sandwich are notable menu items, with the roast beef being particularly tender and flavorful. The fish dinner plate and the Cod sandwich are also recommended. The house bourbon slush is so good. Parking can be challenging due to limited space. The men's restroom may require a closer look for the hand dryer. Recently, a highway sign has been added for the restaurant near the Wilder/AA Highway Exit on I-275, potentially increasing visibility and business. The brunch food has received mixed reviews, and the burger could have been good but was completely unseasoned, really benefitting from some salt and pepper on the grill. The queso had a strange flavor, and came with good pretzel sticks and overcooked Saratoga chips. Service is exceptional and Gus was on point with his attentive service and knowledgeable beer descriptions. Ashley's prompt support with the food and drink delivery helped to make visits a highly enjoyable experience.
