El Dorado | Mexican Restaurant is a clean, local Mexican Restaurant right off the highway, making it a great spot to stop while traveling. The place is often at capacity, but tables open up every 15 minutes. Service is fast, attentive, and friendly. Food comes out fast and hot. The chips and salsa are fresh and flavorful. The fajita arrives sizzling on a hot plate, with tender meat and perfectly cooked vegetables. Dos Eques is on tap, and the margarita and pina colada are well made. One guest loved the enchiladas, calling them in their top 5. Another guest ordered a Mexican (street) taco and noted that it was served on a flour tortilla instead of corn; the server was quick to fix the problem. The decor is loved, and everything is very clean. Overall, a delicious, satisfying experience—a "5 ⭐️ stop" off the highway.
