This is practically the only Chinese food place close by, i normally get my food when working here , which is often, they're friendly enough to know who i am when ordering, which is good , food is a bit overpriced but i delt with it cause the food was ok.
But today they committed the worst failure any food establishment can do and that is serve spoiled food, there's been a few times that I've been served broccoli beef from here and it's kinda questionable but never had concrete evidence of wrong doing, same thing for the fried rice that sometimes i would feel as if it day old rice, but never nothing visually spoiled, but to see that they not only would risk losing a customer getting sick but loose my business and my employees over not discarding rotten molding lettuce is beyond belief and make me feel comfortable that i am sure the past times I've feel the food was spoiled i would've been right one, i will avoid this place now , i don't think i will be comfortable eating in this place again!!!!

I order s13 of the menu and the gave me the wrong food. I called about it and told them that isn't what I wanted.told them it was to spicy and they said that's what I ordered. Tried getting refund or right food that got really upset and wouldn't do anything about it I always order s13. Not happy with them. Guy on the phone was very rude

This place is a gem. This is a family run restaurant who truly cares about their food. The food is always good, high quality, fresh and Terrence and his family are so friendly. You can tell they truly care! We order this once a week and I highly recommend. This restaurant screams small town charm. Prices are very affordable.

Best Chinese food around. We get take-out at least once a week. People come from other towns driving past other Chinese restaurants to go to Great Wall.
The food was not good and I won't return. The wait was insane. I was told 20 minutes, and it was almost an hour for takeout. The outside is in pretty rough shape, but the inside is as nice as what it can be, I guess. This was my first time there, and I heard great reviews. My experience was bad, but maybe I was just unlucky? Either way, I'm not gonna risk a 60 dollar meal here again. Hard pass

Not only are Terrence and his family great people but they make the best Chinese food in central Kentucky!! Seriously, I haven’t had any better Chinese food in and around Lexington. We are very blessed to have such a great restaurant in our community. We eat there at least once a week and haven’t had a bad dish yet. Everything is made fresh daily by people that care. You can tell that this family run restaurant puts their heart and sole into their food. Why wouldn’t you want to support people like that. Thank you very much Great Wall!! You are the best.
Absolutely love Great Wall. It's my go-to spot for Chinese. Even if I'm in Nicholasville, i will drive the extra few min to Great Wall. I usually call in for carry-out, but they have an online ordering option too. No delivery, but thats never been an issue for me personally, because lets be real, China King takes forever to deliver, and Wahmei just sucks in general. Prices at Great Wall are just right, and I've never had a single incorrect order. Super fast, usually ready in 10 min. Bonus points for atmosphere because the staff are super friendly, and there are always people dining in.TL/DR: Highly recommended for fantastic prices, portion sizes, accuracy, speed, and delicious food. No delivery, bu the quality makes up for this fact. If you're looking for a solid Chinese spot in Wilmore/Nicholasville and don't mind carry-out, go to Great Wall.
