I had the Sunday Sauce which is a huge bowl of Spaghetti and meatballs and Italian sausage. It was without a doubt the best sauce I have ever put in my mouth and I used to be married to an Italian. This little gem is situated in charming downtown Winchester, KY. The bourbon list is small but thorough. I had some Buffalo Trace with my meal. The restaurant is truly a hidden gem!! We came in from Morehead just to travel around Winchester and see what we find and stumbled into the warmest coziest yummiest restaurant!! We had two meals in the last couple of weeks traveling through Winchester at La trattoria. The people who work there were working incredibly hard and the service was really good and the food was really good. We have a soft spot for Winchester and enjoy the downtown every time we go through.
