The Philly cheesesteak was scrumptious. Fun little atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be going back.

This is a very nice breakfast and brunch spot in Winchester. I like that it's local, open early, and has delicious food. We had the chicken and waffles, skillet, and pancakes, and we were not disappointed. The coffee was quite pleasant, the atmosphere took me back to local diners (which I love), and the staff were friendly. It's the perfect place to go for breakfast, and it's part of the growing Winchester downtown scene that I hope continues to get better...and this is one of the places that's making it much better!Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options (fewer if you're vegan).

I have eaten here 3 times and it had been perfect eeach time. It does get busy, so you may have to wait for a table, but it's worth the wait.

We were hunting a local, non-chain restaurant for breakfast while on a road trip and stumbled on this gem. Good regional cooking, everything prepared fresh to-order. Lots of choice for breakfast. Ample portions. Friendly, attentive staff. Reasonable prices. One of us had the farmers market skillet and the other had huevos rancheros. Both delicious. $13 each. Coffees were $3 each. Free street parking. Only small negative is that wait time for the order to come is a bit longer than you would get at the big chains. Not unreasonably long, and understandable since all the food is fresh and prepared to order, without shortcuts. Closes at 3 p.m. Recommended.

We've been here multiple times for breakfast and lunch, and we really enjoy the food, especially the southwest wrap, omelet, and burgers. However, we've noticed that the service could use some improvement. There have been instances where we've had to wait over 30 minutes for our drinks, and we didn't receive any refills. It sometimes makes us feel a bit overlooked when we dine here.

This place had the best food at a great portion! Love that they serve breakfast all day for those lazy weekends. We'll probably be back this coming weekend!

Winchester is very LUCKY to have this new little gem of a restaurant! We've eaten there for breakfast several times. It's clean and decorated nicely. They have a super affordable daily breakfast special menu plus their regular menu with omelets, breakfast skillets, etc. The coffee is local and it's awesome. I am so hopeful they can work out their staffing kinks, as they just don't seem to have that down yet. Overall, I just love the place.

Finally made it to Lucky Dog Cafe. My grandson took us there for lunch one day. I love that you can get breakfast all day long - I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. They brought me a stock of three big enough to fill a dinner plate so I couldn't eat them all but they were very good. My grandson and granddaughter got the chicken and waffles and she let me taste her chicken. I think the chicken planks may be in my future! LOL! We enjoyed our meal and the service was very good though the food was a bit slow getting there but the place had several customers and we were not in a hurry so no complaints really. Will probably go again.
