Cooked to order, fresh and the only Italian place I know with real chefs. ( Locally) When I visit a restaurant I search for quality, freshly cooked food, never rehaeated, no canned sauce, and a unique menu. After two visits to this restaurant, I can say bellinos was all of that. With an updated menu every few weeks the menu options never feel dull. A small menu also allows for cooked to order food. The sauces were made fresh, from their own recipe and it shows itself with the flavor. Proteins cooked well each time, and the ambiance felt truly Italian. It's the best place I can recommend in all Alexandria for top tier culinary food.
I truly can't say it enough, the food tastes like it was picked and caught that morning, the flavors are incredibly clean. We've all had a filet or a chicken Parm.. but bellinos was a technical master class. The food alone was worth every dollar spent.
However I will say, my wife and I were a table of two, twice. Each time our table was overlooked and felt forgotten when being waited on. Drinks came slow in contrast to other tables being served multiple times. This is something that bothered us. Especially considering how much the bill was.

My friend and I ordered 2 appetizers. Mardi gras bread which was so yummy. And the artichoke dip. It was really delicious. I would definitely order this again. My entree was the meatball and pasta. I loved the flavors and it was seasoned to perfection my friend ordered the chicken PARMESAN. My friend said her food was flavorful and seasoned right. Our food came out fresh and very hot. Exactly how we like it. We had dessert it was the double chocolate cake. It was so moist and tasty we enjoyed our service. He was kind and sweet. We enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. It was very romantic and peaceful setting

I’ll start this by saying my wife and I are food lovers. Anywhere we go we look for the best local places to eat with the best atmosphere and hospitality, and this was it. We live around here and for one reason or another have never tried it, but decided to go yesterday, and hands down, beats the socks off ANY restaurant we’ve been in here. The staff is extremely family oriented and makes you feel like family too and the food made me eat till I was hurting. They will have many more visits from us

The only reason I'm leaving 3 stars is the food used to be great back in the day. I assume it still is but I can't verify that since you can't contact them to order...

Unfriendly staff. Waited to be seated for 10 minutes, bar tender saw us, waiters saw us, and just ignored us. Humiliating. Such a horrible experience. It wasn’t even busy!!!
Well as an African American when I walked in no one came to say anything to me. Had to go to the bar and talk to the bartender and he had an attitude and was rude. The business close at 9pm and I made it at 8pm and was told it was going to be a 30 min wait cause he know that nobody was getting up from the table anytime soon. Plus when I walked in I got that omg why she in here look from the other people in there.
