Captain D's offers delicious seafood that keeps me coming back for more. The crispy fish and hush puppies are always a treat! However, the staff could use some improvement. Service often feels rushed and impersonal. With better customer service, dining here would be an even greater experience.

People should not have to pay this much money for this kind of food! I really used to like capt'n Ds but dang was this last time bad! Burnt fish, no fries, and they acted as though we were wasn't their time! Come on guys I get it's a rush but just tell me and I'll get a refund and go some place else.

Experience was HORRIBLE ! I waited for apprx 25 mins after ordering my food to receive it . After receiving the food, you would think it would have been fresh (being that it took so long). My fries were cold and looked wet . I went in and explained frustration to the the lady who was working drive through and front counter, she was slow and appeared to not have great understanding . When I then raised my voice to explain my issue the guy in the kitchen who looked like he had just came off a corner started making threatening remarks stating "that's his sister" . Very unprofessional and I would never spend another dime at this place . It was 3 workers total ??♀️

I laughed when my husband got his food. The stuffed crab looked to have been thawed and refrozen. It was almost flat!He took it back and was told it was supposed to be that way. No offer to replace them. First one I’ve seen that way. Fish, shrimp and salmon were very overcooked. Probably out last visit to Captain D’s.

A huge thank you to the manager and her staff (I have their names written on our receipt in my paperwork somewhere) on duty provided my husband Eric and I with great care. Our food was hot and very delicious. I had a giant fried whitefish sandwich and hush puppies. My husband who always offers some his meal to me, thoroughly enjoyed his meal too. He didn’t much care for the red velvet cheesecake though. We look forward to visiting next time we’re in Alexandria, LA.
