This is a great neighborhood gem in downtown Alexandria. Service was excellent, menu offers a variety. We had the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and Italian Grinder. Philly Steak was thinly sliced with peppers, onions, mushrooms, provolone and mayo. Great flavor and oh so tender. The roll was deliciously toasted. The Grinder was the standout today. Place was good. I liked that they toasted my hot hogie just enough to melt the cheese and make the crispy which I liked. Waiter told us that they used peanut oil to cook with and the difference’s between the hot and cold items which was nice to know.
