I never leave five star reviews because no place is perfect. But this place is the exception. I don't know the chefs, but they cook food that ruins every other restaurants' food. I've eaten in many states and five countries, but this place is my favorite. The staff (shout out to Chris, Megan, Lauren, Kristen, Treyvon, and the rest) are mind-blowing in how far they go. By now, I've eaten most things on the menu, except the salad, and each was absolutely delicious. I have been back and will be back again.

Sat at the bar, Stephen and Luke took the best care and made us feel so welcome. Even had a coat for me, because I was chilly. Never had that kind of service. Food was outstanding. Well worth the price. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you all for your wonderful company !

Our waitress was great. We had a reservation for 4:30(opening) and was seated at 4:33. I ordered the vegan vegetable pasta with asparagus and my husband ordered the 16oz ribeye with asparagus and smothered potatoes and green beans. We did not have order an appetizer. Our orders were received around 4:45, we received our food at 5:15. The food was unseasoned and my husband's steak was charred. The bread came halfway through our meal. Dessert was cheesecake with a strawberry reduction which tasted store brought.

We didn't have a reservation but they got us a table no problem. Our waiter was Jeffrey and he was so good! We got the Allegro Moscato which was delicious! Appetizer: The wedge salad, Shrimp Alexandria and the crab cakes were all sooo delicious! Entree: Salmon (good) and 8oz filet (dry) with whipped mashed potatoes (delicious). Dessert: Chocolate cake and cheesecake (mediocre).

Went to my uncle’s 90th birthday party at this restsurant. Had a great time. There were 8 people in our party. Nice place. Beautiful interior of old building.

Made reservation Thursday for Saturday at 6:30. Seated right away, ordered drinks. Got them. Then had to wait 20 minutes to flag down waiter to order salads. Came out 20 minutes later. Another 15 to order steaks. Was then told they had a party of 50 in private room so kitchen backed up. Why not tell us when we are the reservation or when we arrived? Wife’s filet was medium+ and no anywhere close to medium-rate. Tried waking down waiter. Asked for manager after 25 minutes. All in all, well over 2 hours on site, had to actually wave down waiter for everything including water.

Great restaurant in downtown Alexandria, LA. The decor is very nice and the food and service were excellent. If I am back in town, I will be sure to visit again and again!
