I did not receive the variety of donuts shown on the menu for the small variety box. None of the donuts were on display, my order was boxed out of sight. The donuts were cold and did not taste very good. I went here because it had the highest rating from the most reviews. I was extremely disappointed. I will not go here again and should have just gone to tried and true Shipley's.

I hit the jackpot with this place. I normally don't eat wheat, but when I do I like doughs really light. It's a simple but nice little place with good service and very tasty croissants and doughnuts.

6-25-23 came for the first time around 9:40 A.M.I called first to see if they had bagels (because my fella likes bagels), but they didn't.Anyway, they DID have cinnamon rolls!!!!I also ordered the pinecone donut because I read the reviews...and MOST of them RAVEE about the pinecones!The Cinnamon rolls are a 10/10!!!The Pinecone donuts are 10/10!!!Go get you some!!!I was afraid that the donuts would have been all cold and stuff because it was wayyyy about 7, but they were fresh!!!I have no idea what you Alexandria folks like about Shipley's (yuck, yuck, yuck) but THIS PLACE IS WHERE THE QUALITY OLD-FASHIONED STYLE RECIPES AND CREATED WITH LOVE COMES FROM!!

After my night stay in Alexandria I was in a search of good coffee. This place has the perfect review which is surprising but now I know why. I gave it 5 star also because it is a really good place with friendly service and great tasting hot food. I got egg and cheese croissant and few donuts. One of the donut was low sugar and my husband really liked it. Our food was fresh and hot out of oven. The owner warmed my donut on my request and which is very nice of him. Highly recommend this place.

Very very fresh doughnuts! The woman running this place seriously deserves an award. She's working the drive thru and front counter at the same time moving quick but cheerful and friendly. We visited once and the second time we came she remembered our order. Hoping this place gets even more business because it definitely deserves it! DO NOT SKIP THE JELLY DOUGHNUTS

Stopped in at 5:30 AM - we had an urgent donut craving. Donuts were just coming out and not everything was ready yet. We got 3 glazed, 1 chocolate frosting with sprinkles and 1 old fashioned. They were hot, soft, and absolutely delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and the customer service was excellent. Our total for 2 large coffees and 5 donuts was around $10. Can't beat the price. Wish we lived closer because I will definitely crave these donuts again!

My order wasn’t right so I politely stated that it was wrong and I was told: Yeah.. that don’t happen here. She even kept the food I paid for!... She stood there staring at me so I just drove away. Perhaps it was a fluke, I was a repeat customer. The food and service was always wonderful until today. A small explanation would have been acceptable but the lack of manners and rude customer service today just ruined it for me. I know that it doesn’t matter to a business; if they lose my business but I don’t believe I will go back. I can accept that quality is not always consistent due to varying factors but lack of manners and being blatantly rude is never acceptable.
