Best brunch in Alexandria! Forgot to take a picture of my meal because it was too delicious! Very clean, friendly staff, and is also kid friendly. I got the Kickin Chicken Waffle and it was the most delicious chicken sandwich I have had in a while. I got a side of seasoned potatoes with it and they were very yummy. It is on the pricier side, but I would definitely eat here again!

I love traveling through a new place and typing into Google Maps "Best Breakfast near Me." Le Bistreaux did not disappoint. Le Couchon (3 scrabbled eggs, pulled pork, peppers, onions and cheese with waffle biscuits and a Bulletproof coffee. YUUUUUM!

What a nice place to eat. Don't let the exterior fool you, the inside is very clean and the best part is the food. We got the Big Breakfast and original breakfast combo, but everyone was ordering the Bananas Foster which I'll get on my next trip through Alexandria, Louisiana.
While in the Alexandria, LA area I searched for a breakfast area and found Le Bistreaux. The selection of sweet and savory is massive! Lots of coffee options, hot and cold! They weren't very busy but we liked the cool little "coffee house" vibe. Such a nice change from chain restaurants. Service was nice and adequate. You go up to the counter and place your order and they'll bring it to your table. I was torn between the crab cake Benedict (my go-to at any breakfast/brunch spot) and one of the many sweet waffle choices. Then I saw it... Monte Cristo waffle! Ham, Swiss, blackberry jam between two waffles. Chef's kiss! My daughter stayed basic with a traditional breakfast but said the scrambled eggs were some of the best she's ever had!

I went to Le Bistreaux for the very first time today and I was amazed at how great the food was. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken tenders were literally the best I've ever had! I will definitely be going back. I can't wait to try something else on their menu!
