$14 is too much for the plate lunches that y’all are fixing. I went in for lunch and they gave me one small piece of ham, a small side of mustard greens and a small side candied yams and the mustard greens taste like they were poured from a can and just eat it up.

We went for breakfast one morning and waited 30 minutes and no one even acknowledged that we were there. When the staff started waiting on customers that came in after us, we got up to leave. My husband explained to the waitress that we had been waiting for 30 minutes. We walked out and a little sawed off man came flying from another door screaming at my husband because he complained about our wait. He proceeded to curse him and wirh his fist clenched he kept lunging at him (my husband is 75 years old and walks with a cane) I really thought this little man was going to hit him. Ultimately we were barred from going back. My suggestion is that if you are hungry don't go to this restaurant unless you're willing to wait an hour are more for service. By all means DON'T VOICE A COMPLAINT!!!!

I visited the newly opened Marksville location today. The parking lot was full and there was only 2 available tables. It did take quite a long time to get our food but we took into consideration they were trying the best they could. Hopefully they work out the kinks and get more staff because this place has a lot of potential here in Marksville. I’d also like to add the food was great and fresh. We will def be giving them another try. And kudos to the owner coming out into the dining room and sincerely apologizing for the wait times etc.

How can you go wrong with a breakfast place that has 3 different kinds of bacon and 4 different sausages? I had the cheddar jalapeño sausage, which packed a respectable punch of spiciness. Everyone was nice, the food was all good, and the collection of metal models decorating the place was charming.

It still has the same feel of Lucille’s Red Kettle. The waitress seemed a bit all over the place but the food was soooo good so that was great! The 3 meat burrito was absolutely delicious!

Since my last review doesn’t seem to be showing up, the owner likes to threaten and curse previous employees over the phone when asking for a W2. According to him one was sent per his comment on another review, although over the phone it was a different story. I also was fired, I did not quit, I was yelled at and told to go home, then asked if I still wanted my job after being disrespected by the owner. I suppose trying to save face for his business is better than the truth.
