Mandarin Chinese & Sushi

Just as good as the Old Oriental Wok but in a much better location. Food is good as always and the portions are huge. You won’t leave hungry.

Let me start by saying I love Mandarin. However I experienced the worst service ever. We were there 20 minutes and no one had even come to take our drink order. I found another server and told her we hadn't been helped. When we finally saw our waitress she said the dishes needed for our order (which we hadn't placed yet) were in the dishwasher??? Long story short we left and won't be back.

terrible experience all way around. the people were rude with exception of the hostess who was excellent. the food quality that once was is non existent. the rice was just rice cooked in soy sauce and the beef tastes like it came from a can. never experienced this before it was always excellent. hate throwing shade but to tell the truth when you visit a restaurant it should be a great experience especially at today’s prices. sad to say i probably won’t be back there anytime soon 👎🏻

Really great dinner!! The sushi and Chinese food were really good. We got a Bo Bo platter and it has a cool fire on it! The shrimp toast was PHENOMENAL.

Good food, best in are at least. Staff is quick and polite. Slightly expensive, but you wont be disappointed no matter what you order. Its all good. It would probably be great if it wasn't for the meat you get in this part of Louisiana! Im telling you, I believe the meat delivered to less than, avg. Above avg. Economies are different. The meats in Philly are way different and better than the meats in Louisiana, and the meats in Lafayette are better than meats delivered in Alexandria. See what I mean.

This place has really declined. Plate came out with a giant hair and old piece of wonton stuck on it, tiny spicy sauce was way darker and sweeter than it should have been. The men’s restroom was filthy.

Appetizers are decent. Orderd teriyaki beef and short ribs. Arrived around 11A.M., and sushi fish was fresh tasting.
