She worked efficiently and politely and with grace and poise. The pad Thai was absolutely the best I have ever had. And a huge helping. I’ve already eaten some of this and I’m taking the rest home.

We left Mardi Gras in New Orleans and headed back to Texas. On our way, we decided to stop for a late lunch at a place with a 4.7-star rating on Google. We ordered Pad Thai and Green Curry Chicken. The menu features a mix of Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes. Both meals were tasty, but they lacked the authentic Thai flair we were expecting.

I stopped by Noodles and Grill after Christmas, looking for something different, and I'm glad I did! The place was lively, with families enjoying their meals, and the vibe was bright, clean, and spacious. The staff handled dine-in and to-go orders like pros.
I wanted to try a little of everything, so I got the egg rolls, Pad Thai, Basil Chicken, and Green Curry Shrimp. The egg rolls were thin, crispy, and came with rice noodles and dipping sauce—just how I like them. The Pad Thai was good, but I wish it came with lime wedges and crushed peanuts for that extra texture. Also, the box was a bit small for all the noodles, and they were hard to pull apart by the time I ate. The pictures of online don't match what I got in the to go box so that was disappointing.
The Basil Chicken was the highlight for me! The rice came topped with a fried egg and onion strips, and the chicken had the perfect tangy flavor with just enough basil. I’d totally order it for lunch and save the leftovers for dinner.
But the Green Curry Shrimp was the real surprise. It was loaded with shrimp and veggies in a spicy, flavorful broth that warmed me up on a cold, drizzly day. If I lived nearby, this would be my go-to comfort dish when I’m feeling under the weather.
All in all, Noodles and Grill is a win! I’d definitely come back to try more of their menu.

This by far is the Best place for Pho! And other delicious dishes!!! Since coming to Alexandria we found this place by accident…… all I can say is, my boyfriend is Japanese from LA…. He LOVES it!
Excellent service, very attentive and friendly and Delicious Pho! Compliments to the chef. Also had the Chinese fried rice with chicken, shrimp, beef it was delicious. Not much ambiance.

I tried the steak/brisket pho: the broth was a deep and rich flavor while still retaining an air of lightness that pho has, meat was very tender and the little amounts of fat on the edges just melt in your mouth
Additionally had the crab rangoons: very slight hint of sweetness before being hit with a fantastic umami flavor bomb
I will be going back and recommending it to everyone in the area!
