Po-Boy Express - Alexandria

Ordered fried shrimp poboy and fries. Fries are better than Lou & Laura but poboy is not good. Bread used for poboy is not authentic bread for poboy. Shrimps are too little for a large long poboy bread

Awesome food and great people. Its my family's mid way stop from Dallas to New Orleans. We do this trip twice a year. I just have to bring my own hot sauce

Food was really good, could use a touch of something special. Not sure what to say other than the food is solid but could be a tiny bit better depending on each persons taste. Staff was nice but didn’t seem like they wanted to be there at all. Biggest upset is the atmosphere and typical guests that they attract. This place is cheaper, so you will get a few people that come from lower income background which is fine but when I can see moldy feet sticking out of your sandals in the middle of a place where people eat, I have a problem with that. The restaurant isn’t at fault for their guests but realize that the atmosphere is nothing fancy at all which makes some people feel a little too at home here.

I ordered a Rajun Cajun poboy and it was terrible. It's was very dry and had very little meat. Hardly any mayonnaise. Didn't see or taste the onions or olives on the sandwich. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING FROM POBOY EXPRESS.

Jumped off i-49 for lunch. Definitely will stop again. Group of 5 varieties of sandwiches absolutely amazing 🤩
