Good seasoning just wasn’t the cracklin I was wanting. This was chicken and beef fried wasn’t bad . I was wanting more of fried skin .
That Boudin Ball don't owe me nothing! And that catfish plate?? Man...
Food was luke warn on deliver steak over cooked waiters kept hitting table cocktail took 30 minutes overall a horrible experience staff kept apologizing for everything taking so long and apparently we could make orders at same time since mine and wife's came after my daughter had finished meal
Great food. Good place to stop.
That was some good food! It was supposed to be something to get me by until I got to Buccees. Unfortunately I learned too late, this place was my main stop. If I'm fortunate to be traveling through again, I will be eating here.
My husband and I were driving through and we are SO glad we stopped! The Boudin balls are DELICIOUS! Pork Cracklins are on point.
Pricey got the chicken crackling and regular cracklins 4 pieces of pork cracklins, one small scoop of chicken cracklins. Over 13 bucks. Guys working were super nice.
I stopped today on my roadtrip to get gas next door. I saw their sign and said what the H, I’ve never had chicken cracklings…. LOVED THEM. The guy behind the counter was extremely nice and accommodating. He even gave me a free sample before I ordered. I’m calling tomorrow to see if they can ship to my employees back home!

Fresh, tasty and quite frankly the best we have had so far out of hundreds of miles and 4 other places. Convenient and lots of parking for larger vehicles :)

Catfish was cooked good, but not much seasoning, besides salt. Chicken cracklins' are basically skinny chicken nuggets, but seasoning very good. Too much meat to be called cracklins' and its battered. They faking mostly. Gumbo seems like instant something, very runny and for 24 oz, maybe 1 oz of meat, with 2 slices of sausage and two bites of chicken. Its okay, because some flavors were good, otherwise, I cant recommend.

Store lock door two min early could not get in on my way back to Dallas stop for a few things pull up @ 5:58 doors were locked ? as we pulled up customer were walking out the door we get out truck quickly pull door it was locked and we are right in front of building
This was my first time at this place. I saw it on my way to Baton Rouge, so I decided to stop by on my way back to east texas. I ordered the pepper jack boudin balls and deer tamales. The boudin balls were too salty to eat. I thought it was the batter they were deep fried in but it was the boudin itself. I was so disappointed. My dogs wouldn’t eat it. The tamales were amazing. The masa to meat ratio was perfect. Just wish it came with hot sauce instead of picante sauce. Tamales are definitely a five star.
