Just moved here from Michigan. If you’re familiar it is home to one of the largest Indian/Punjab communities. And of course the best Indian food!Just stopped by and had the Lemon Pepper Chicken! I’ll be back!!! Excellent food, service and atmosphere! This is indeed a hidden gem!Try it for yourself! Enjoy!

Was traveling to Kisatchie from Lafayette and we stopped into Royal india bistro after a hike and the food was amazing. We got the veggie biryani, Peshawari masala, veggie korma, and garlic naan. I have never seen a biryani cooked with a bread over the bowl it was super cool. Great vegan options!Amazing flavors and great service. Thank you to the team at Royal Indian bistro! Much love

One of only a few Indian cuisine restaurants in the area the food is decent the buffet they offer is got some good selections on it prices are mid-level always best to go for lunch or brunch time and avoid dinner time.
I got the goat curry and garlic naan to go and it was delicious! And this one order fed me 4 times I definitely will be back!

Stopped while my car was getting new tires down the street. The place was quiet and the waiter/host greeted me at the door.Looking at the menu I decided on the chicken chettinad as well as some garlic naan (that’s what pushed the price slightly over the $20.00 mark.)The food came out nice and hot with generous servings; the bread warm and fresh out the oven. It all tasted as good as it looked and smelled. Before I knew it I had eaten everything and it was time to go check on the car.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp and it appeared that a person in a wheelchair would be able to easily enter and leave the building.

Excellent food! Coming from Dallas, we weren't expecting much but we were mistaken. We haven't had such tasty food even is Dallas. We were literally begging him to open a resturant in Dallas. He was great at recommending dishes to order. Told us the biryani would be huge so to avoid ordering a lot of food. The service was fast. Resturant and bathroom was clean. Would highly recommend.
