We ate breakfast here this morning. The food was great. The service was great, too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Man, oh man! Talking about a blast from the past! I had come across this treasure, about a month ago, while searching online for a place that actually had "good food", especially Breakfast. Well, this morning was the day! After my doctors appt at 9:15, I decided to go home in Pineville via the Jackson St bridge. So, I made a right on 3rd and my car stopped in front of Sentry Grill. I opened the door and instantly went back in time 60 years from when I was a teen going in the local Drugstore for a Cherry Coke. After taking that in for a minute or so, I looked to my left and saw the grill and booths. Flo (perfect name) told me to sit anywhere. She was so friendly and down-to-earth along with the other waitress whom I chatted with while waiting. I ordered two eggs that were so fresh and perfectly fried over medium, the best biscuits I think I ever put my lips to and plenty of sausage gravy (not just a dusting, but probably a ladle full), large portion of grits (perfectly cooked) and I "had" to try the pancakes which were very light and tasty. Lastly a large glass of cold milk. I MIGHT ADD THAT ALL THE FOOD CAME TO MY TABLE "HOT", not lukewarm like you get at the other eateries in the area. I HAD TO USE A FORK TO LIFT THE TOP PANCAKE TO SPREAD THE MARGERINE. I HAVE "DEFINITELY FOUND MY NEW BREAKFAST SPOT! I HAVEN'T HAD THE LUNCH YET, BUT AM ANTICIPATING SOME MORE GREAT GRUB.

I stopped by here after a recommendation from my uber driver. It’s inside of Sentry Drugstore and the workers were all very kind. I ordered their old fashioned hamburger and added tomato with a side of sweet potato fries and a can of coke. Genuinely the best hamburger I have ever had. It was also the perfect size for me as well. Would definitely go back just for that hamburger.

We came in with our youth group for breakfast and we were so impressed. We called ahead and they had a table waiting and ready for us. The food was good and they were patient with our students. We loved it.
