Made a group order with my coworkers the other morning but we usually go to the one on MacArthur drive which they are great. Not this location tho. We only came to this one bc on Sunday this was the only location that opens earlier than 6. THEY have the hours posted as 5:30 but god forbid you show up at that time because they will look at you sideways for showing up at the times they have posted lol. After feeling extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome by the staff I finally got the donuts and coffee and we did not like them. Tasted like they had been sitting out a while which is crazy since I got there right as they were opening. Maybe they left them out overnight. Definitely go to MacArthur drive instead of this one

The worst Shipleys location in Alexandria. Everything and everyone looked unhygienic and donuts definitely just sit out and get stale. At least that’s what they tasted like.

The Alexandria Jackson St location quality of their donuts have declined over the years. I have to go to the Pineville, Monroe Hwy location for good donuts. I keep trying to give the Jackson st location a try every so often, but always a disappointment. Don't get filled donuts at the Jackson St. location, they barely fill them each time. Not sure what they are saving the filling for.

Best Donuts in Louisiana!Good quality donuts. I have not tried the Kolaches here but I have heard they are good as well.If you are in the mood for donuts, it is worth trying Shirley’s.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Visiting the area from Houston and was so excited to see a Shipleys! That excitement quickly soured, just like the milk we ordered. If you are from Texas (really anywhere), I do not recommend this place. The donut holes were nothing like the ones from all of the Shipleys I have ever been to in Houston (and I have been to many). They were half the size of the ones I usually get and they were cold. We also ordered 2 Kolaches, they were also cold and had been sitting there so long that the cheese had leaked out of the bread and hardened in a glob sticking out of the bread. We were not even able to finish it because the bread was already tough and hardening. Then I go to open the milk we purchased and the bottle stinks! Upon closer inspection it looks like another bottle of milk spilled all over our 2 bottles and then spoiled. The smell on the bottle was so nasty that we did not want to drink from it. Very disappointed, but I have learned my lesson and will only be visiting Shipleys in the Houston area because it is obvious that not all franchisees operate to the same standards.
