The cooks literally don’t wear gloves , uses their hands to place Cole slaw on plates , they even rigged Cole slaw out the trash when they closed and put it on somebody plate , they have hairs in the food , and they nasty , health department needs to get there quick , oh and the certifcates are a scam for money they’ll let you purchase it but then be like it’s expired you can’t use it , the owner is rasict rude and roaches and stink bugs be in the kitchen , they have unsanitary freezers so much clutter you can’t even get through the hall. Fish be sitting down in the water and flies fly in it and they still use the same fish to give people. Do not eat here

This is down home dive with excellent execution on food. Somebody called Guy Fietti. My family needs DDD.
Fish was kinda muddy again today... Sometimes I've eaten there and it's fishy. Not a good aftertaste right now... Also, need to have bigger plates. Not much room to put ketchup on the plate.

Smackin Mack's-If we lived here this place would be worth the 90 minute drive OFTEN to go to!!!!
It’s on the end of a “plaza”, a little hole in the wall decorated with silly signs, limited seating, huge chalkboard menu. You order your food at the counter and they call your name when it’s ready.
We were greeted with a huge smile as soon as we walked in (Southern hospitality) You don’t get the shit in Ohio most of the time!
The food…..let’s put it this way, when the 2 moms (we had the grandsons) say it’s hard to get the boys to eat and all 3 boys got a cheeseburger and fries and all 3 ate every last bite but a few fries and one of them (7 yr old) says “I want to stop eating but I can’t” and they gave it a million 👍👍👍
The food was fabulous!! I say this about some places but this place was top notch- out of this world-I don’t even know how to describe it- I ordered hush puppies, she gave them to us and said “I’ll give them to you because yall are Yankees” 😂 (She had asked about the boys and told her we were babysitting and from Ohio)
The BEST freaking hush puppies I’ve ever had!!! I also had a fried green tomato BLT- who would have thought??? 😋😋 He had a Shrimp PoBoy and loved it!

I would normally rated them 5 stars but I'm very upset at what happened. I went there and got a gift certificate for my friend's birthday for 20.00. When I gave it to him to use, he went over tried to use it they said it was expired. They dated the gift certificate expiration date the same day I bought it!
