I’ve been stopping at this sonic for years it’s always been great until today For some reason my card was declined and so they took it inside with them taking 20 minutes to bring it back to me and while this is taking place my phone is blowing up with notifications from my bank of sonic charges 3 separate charges so I get I went to the lady she opened the door and was completely rude acting as if made her so mad for me asking for my own debit card back that she was ready to fight

Just left this store location and my experience was….odd. First, the woman taking our order over the speaker sounded extremely put out and like she didn’t want to take any orders. Told us the slush machine was down and have no clue when it will be back up and running. We did order some popcorn chicken and it was good. Okay let’s skip to the odd part….the carhop who brought our order out to us asked us if we would like to make a “cash donation for their coworker who recently passed away from cancer.” She stated they don’t have any go fund me page and just wanted cash tips to help the family. She said they knew she “was going to pass but not so suddenly and that the doctors thought she was asleep” then she cuts herself short on that thought and follows it with “What’s the name of the cancer? Oh I forgot but it starts with a C.” LOL not trying to be rude and MAYBE she is being honest but it rubbed me the wrong way and maybe before asking for donations in the future she needs to learn the type of cancer her coworker passed from and have something a little more “office” looking? Would probably return if the slush machine was fixed.

We go to sonic on 28west trying then pull around the parking lot to find a screen that works just to wait 30 minutes to bring us melted hot fudge Sundays, I refuse to take it so this is the better version they brought us and it didn’t even taste like ice cream….

Placed an online order as I always do. Once I checked in I waited 27 minutes. 4 out of the 7 burgers I ordered were wrong. Waited another 10 minutes for them to fix it. 1 out of the 4 which was a PLAIN CHEESEBURGER was wrong. The staff is rude and the service at this location has gone down tremendously over the past few months. Had a similar experience 2 weeks ago, which is what promoted me to check my food tonight. Whoever the night time manager at this location is needs to do better. Over 40 minutes for 7 cheeseburgers at a FAST FOOD restaurant is insane.

Half of the menu things where you order don't work and they can't even be bothered to put a cone In front of them to let you know so you pull into multiple of them just to find another that doesn't work

Twice in a row this week after I've ordered and paid, order never arrived to car. Had to ask multiple times where order was. Nothing but confused employees. A manager just came on shift and was nice and is fixing the problem after her employees told her food was delivered to us when nothing was delivered. We watched the employees do nothing but play around. At least new shift manager lady is trying. Waste of time, will go to kingsville sonic only from now on.
