Unfortunately it is no longer there...Three years ago we were working in Alexandria and we ate here several times. It was excellent.
It's closed down. The Apollo Greek/Lebanese restaurant is a good place.
I had the most delicious chopped cheese sandwich in here, and it was worth what I spent on it, and more. If you ever want a taste of New York style food, I highly recommend it. ? The owner is also very kind, and professional.

Based on reviews my expectation was much higher than what we got. Boars Head meats and cheeses a huge plus. Sandwiches however were dismal. A small pile of shaved Meat, and a slice of cheese, slapped on sub bread. Small slices that wouldn’t hold together. Mayo, mustard, pickles, lettuce on the side to build. your own. Didn’t look appetizing. Threw most of it away.

If you like Philly steak and cheese, you must get one at Super Al's! Yummo! And, the chicken parm...nom! Clean store and indoor seating. Roy (the owner) is a Super nice guy and I always like to visit with Zeus.

This has to be one of the most authentic restaurant’s I have ever been to. If you want gourmet food at a affordable price look no further. The Reuben is so good. My son liked his turkey sandwich and my daughter liked her burger & fries. But that Reuben? Mmmmmmm.
