The GORDITA is AMAZING. I didn’t even know what a real one was, until I had it here. Staff is extremely nice, food is great, and the experience is AUTHENTIC. Best kept secret in CENLA.

Food is incredible albeit a bit pricey. None of the staff speak English which can make customer service a bit of a difficult situation. Highly recommended.

This is authentic & delicious Mexican food! You really must try! No passport necessary! We dined inside. Cool religious statues sold. Refreshing coconut drinks, & festive music!

Amazing. Best Mexican food in town I've had so far. Got a tamale (huge, not your snowball stand kind of tamale, had a whole ? in it), chorizo burrito (HUGE) and 4 tacos for $23 (tax Inc). The salsa has a KICK here, everything is so flavorful and spiced. Be real careful with the salsa, they were nice enough to give me a plate of chips/sals for free while I waited for my Togo order which kept me from ruining my tacos by emptying the salsa on them like I'd do anywhere else.Absolute legit, now I know where the real Mexican food has been hiding in this town!

Asked for a quesadilla and idk what the hell this is . Looked like they smashed some chips on top of a bed of lettuce and tomato
Keep your money and head somewhere else.Upon walking in the food smells good but the place is a mess. No one greeted me as I walked to the register to look at the menu. The guys in the back looked at me and didn't say anything. I took a seat and waited 5 mins and was never greeted as they moved around the trailer of a restaurant. I got up walked back toward the guy cooking and still he didn't put his phone down to talk to me. I said hello and was ignored. Not sure if it's because they didn't think I could speak Spanish but they were certainly open and serving food.

Walked in at 3pm Sunday, there were people sitting on tables as if they were waiting for food. While reading the menu they have posted the guy informed me there were closed! MOST UNPROFESSIONAL RESTAURANT
