Amazing coffee, the friendliest staff, (love Megan!) and amazing atmosphere to catch up with friends, a first date, or you need to get in a quiet corner and study for a final.

Good coffee and a nice place to hang out. For you other parents out there, not a good place to stop and change a diaper. The bathroom is tiny and there are no surfaces to suffice. But, if you don’t have a diaper to change, absolutely stop and enjoy this cute little shop with fun fall specials!
One of the best coffee houses I’ve been to. Love their iced coffee. Great atmosphere.

We are big cortado drinkers, and it's hard to find good cortados while traveling, we saw the reviews and decided to stop and we weren't disappointed. The espresso was amazing and I loved their custom espresso machine.

From the aesthetics to the welcoming staff, I absolutely love the atmosphere at T&G. I also love that they keep board games on hand and host occasional events! They always have great drinks and snack options

I am from out of town and always prefer to drive out of my way to find something that isn’t Starbucks. Found this gem and grabbed an iced latte with an extra shot today. Good espresso roast, good pull on the extraction. Fast and friendly service.

As downtown areas go, the neighborhood was a little sketchy. But once inside everything was incredible. The employees were helpful and knowledgeable. Not to mention they were super friendly too. I ordered an Americano with cream to go. As I drank it, I mentioned to my husband how I wished I had ordered a larger size because it was the most delicious Americano I have had in ages! I highly recommend the coffee here. And the prices were reasonable.

I’m not from around here and I went here expecting to have an amazing experience. I asked the Male barista if I could smell the beans as I have been a barista for four years and would like to know the quality of the coffee beans before I get an Americano. he notably, judged me with an attitude, denying my request to smell the beans and treated me as if I was an imbecile. going somewhere expecting to have a lovely experience and then getting treated like you’re not a fellow human is a terrible experience and I feel bad for all of the people that get treated the same way but aren’t confident enough to leave a review. I honestly would recommend taking your service and your Love and giving it to a coffee shop that’s going to accommodate your needs and at the very least be kind. I write this with peace in love and I hope that management changes or fire as a person that I had the encounter with today because I do believe that this coffee shop could be very lovely.:) ( i did not purchase anything!)

Cute coffee shop! Very popular and was packed when we went.
A cozy coffee shop find in Alexandria with a relaxed, eclectic vibe and a lot of character. We stopped in and ordered a matcha latte, which was impressively well-balanced—not overly sweet like you’d find at bigger chains. The desserts were just okay, nothing remarkable, but the space itself left a good impression.
The shop has a warm interior, with multiple seating zones and plenty of board games, making it feel like a laid-back community spot. We may have arrived at an odd hour—possibly close to closing—so the energy was a bit low, and we didn’t quite feel fully welcomed. Still, overall it was a pleasant visit. Worth checking out if you’re passing through Alexandria.

Don’t get me wrong, LOVE this place. This review is just on the most recent visit and because of the staff. I was waiting for my coffee (love their drinks) and a homeless man came in asking for water to fill the water bottle he had. The one guy that was working came to the register and by his accounts, he is new. He started escalating a situation and blew a respectful request for water out of proportions telling this man not to be hostile (which he wasn’t at all). I was disgusted how the employee treated this man, it is 90 degrees outside and he just wanted water and he was so nice so I ended up getting him some bottles. All it takes is simple respect instead of being standoffish right away. Not everyone is trying to start trouble.

Good sized coffee house with friendly staff. They have a variety of hot offerings along with some wonderful pastries (I had the Fruity Pebbles Muffin and pasta salad which were both great). Maple seating and fast wifi for folks like me that are passing through and need to get some work done.
