I visit a lot of establishments. This IS fine dinning above standard. And at reasonable prices. We stopped in for lunch (honestly, minutes before closing lunch). Service was outstanding, and the food without exception, outstanding. I had the bourbon Salmon. OMG, I've never tasted a semi-sweet drizzle that was this good. My wife, red beans/rice with blackened Catfish.
Again, old skool LA recipe - outstanding.
And generous portions

My husband and I had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant. I made dinner reservations here for his birthday while visiting the area. Everything was superb. The chargrilled oysters were phenomenal!

Went to this place the other night an it turned out better than I expect. The chicken come out tender, sides was good an plenty of food on the plate. Service was quick, folks smiled an checked on me now an then without botherin too much. It’s a good spot for a hearty meal, I’ll sure stop again when I pass thru.
